Qualitative Info

The existing law on public servants, employed in the public sector (Act 1992. XXXIII.) does not require Hungarian citizenship as a criterum from the employment, migrants are excluded only in some special cases. In general, public servants' positions are available for those migrants who have residence permit or permanent residence permit.

In the case of civil servants, employed in the governmental sector, jobs are not available for those who are not Hungarian citizens ( Act 1992. XXIII.)
