Qualitative Info

There are many schools which participate in EU funded projects in these thematic areas. There are also special measures adopted in schools which are classified as "Educational Priority Zone", which are schools in impoverished areas with a high migrant or Turkish speaking school population. These measures include the teaching of the mother tongue of these students, cultural exchanges.

Α special Culture and Support Zone has also been created in the framework of the educational reform which offers to all children programs in the afternoon (after school) of theatre, arts, music, journalism/creative writing and support language classes, mathematics and computers. In these sessions, migrant children also have the opportunity to take lessons in their mother tongue.
