In 2010, the number of victims of trafficking 18 years or older were identified in 25 cases by the police and 7 cases of victims of trafficking under 18 years were identified ( The Swedish National Council on Crime prevention (Brottsförebygganderådet, Brå) http://www.bra.se/(accessed 2012-03-12). In its second report, ECRI mentioned the continuing problem of trafficking in women for prostitution purposes.
