The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has condemned Spain to compensate with 23,000 euros in moral damages to Mikel San Argimiro Isasa-member of the terrorist group ETA, was sentenced to more than 100 years in prison for, among other crimes, attempted murder former socialist ministers Jose Barrionuevo and Matilde Fernández, considering that the Spanish courts did not investigate in detail allegations of torture that he filed after his arrest in Madrid in 2002. The European Court is not yet sufficient to claim that the terrorist was indeed tortured. |
