On 31 December 2010 there were 96.880 migrants with valid residence permit, 43.074 permanent residence permits (1.262 citizens of EEA member states and 41.812 third country nationals) and 58.806 temporary residence permits (7.498 citizens of EEA member states and 46.308 third country nationals).

 

In the period 1 January 2011 – 31 August 2011 32.098 temporary residence permits were issued (main groups: 13.780 to nationals of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 3.278 to nationals of Kosovo, 582 to nationals of FYROM, 356 to nationals of Serbia, 2.381 to nationals of Bulgaria and 2.190 to nationals of Ukraine).

 

In the period   1 January 2011 – 31 August 2011 4.172 permanent residence permits were issued (main groups: 1.803 to nationals of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 688 to nationals of Kosovo, 582 to nationals of FYROM, 356 to nationals of Serbia, 243 to nationals of Croatia and 65 to stateless people).
