Qualitative Info

Only the NCCD (the equality body - National Council for Combating Discrimination) reports on the number of complaints regarding discrimination. Judicial statistics do not have indicators regarding the number of cases of discrimination.

In 2010, the NCCD reports a significant decrease in the number of complaints of discrimination on the ground of ethnicity 55 (2010), compared with 62 (2009), and 62 (2008).

The NCCD does not always correlate data based on areas where discrimination occurs (i.e. employment, education) with the ground.
