According to Eurostat data, for the second quarter of 2011, of 190 first instance decisions, in 10 of them refugee status was granted, in 5 of them subsidiary protection was granted and 175 were rejections.

According to the Romanian Immigration Office, 73 persons were granted asylum in 2011.
