    Gli immigrati nell’agricoltura italiana

The Report, very detailed and strongly based on legislation and statistics, is divided in three parts. The firsts part analyses the evolution of immigration, related laws and social aspects of immigration in Italy, with a special focus on agricolture. The second part analyses the relationship between work in agricolture and immigration, ending with an analysis of the demographic dynamics that caracterized italian rural areas in the last decades, promoting the employment of immigrant workers. The third and last part is fully dedicated to INEA’s research in four italian northern, central and southern regions, in the North, and the conclusion, in extreme synthesis, is that by this time it is difficult, if not impossible, to think about a sustainable development of italian rural areas without the employment of foreign workers in agricolture.
