A research on discrimination in education and leisure time, with special focus on young people belonging to sexual and gender minorities, found that discrimination and bullying is common among these minority groups. Altogether 36 % of the respondents (n=636) belonging to a sexual or gender minority said that they have at some point in their school life been the target of bullying due to their belonging to a sexual or gender minority.
