    The immigrant Muslim community in Spain

 

The report reflects that 83% of respondents consider themselves adapted to the life and customs of their place of residence in Spain. 74% said that our country was good to welcome immigrants. In addition, 67% stated they felt at home in Spain. Only 10% of Muslim immigrants interact exclusively with people of their nationality, and 15% say they do so only with people of the same religion.

Compared to the rest of Europe or the United States, Muslim immigrants in Spain believe that there is a lower grade of rejection and distrust of their religion. Only 10% stated they encounter obstacles in Spain to practice their religion, compared to 86% who said they find no obstacles whatsoever.
