The study finds that there is a distorted picture of the number of foreign nationals living in Spain. People think that immigrantst are 21.3% of the population, nearly double than the actual 12%. Cohabitation is increasingly accepted, relations through employment or studies are accepted by 81% of the Spanish population. Despite this, foreigners are still viewed as an overprotected collective, which receives more than what it provides and monopolizes school and health aids.
