The Olsztyn police arrested two men, who on Wednesday 13 June 2012 assaulted a black resident of Olsztyn. The police admitted that the act was clearly racist in nature. They saw him coming and shouted that they will beat up the chocolate. And they did what they said and he took blows to the head. "If it was not for a random driver who stopped and took my husband to another street, I do not know how all this would end", – reported the victim’s wife to the media. The perpetrators were a 60-year-old father and his 25-year-old son. The injured man has been living in Poland for several years, and two years ago received a Polish citizenship. The assault, which is being investigated by the police and the prosecutor’s office, is the fourth racist incident involving this man in Olsztyn.
