During a lip sewing hunger strike of Iranians refugees at the centre of Athens, a municipal police officer entered the hunger strike space, verbally threatened the present migrants and punched a hunger striker on his face. Some days later, an explosive attack occurred in the camp, during which a tent caught fire.

 

Mandana Daneshnia, a female refugee who was on the 18th day of her hunger strike was attacked at her way out of her home. She went home with her husband to change clothes and on their way out a motorcyclist attacked her on the face and back. The couple managed to get away when a passing woman shouted for help.
