According to the NGO Accept, during its fact finding missions, it had collected reports of discriminatory deeds based on sexual orientation. Thus, according to the NGO, several persons have declared that they have been physically and verbally abused by employees of the Police in the main Bucharest rail station (North Station), in the period February-March 2010. Accept has documented the cases and sent a report to the police presenting the discriminatory deeds and the legal measures which were to be considered in connection to these deeds (from both the Criminal Code and the Anti-discrimination Law). Accept stated that an official reply maintained that the document was presented to the police staff in order to prevent future abuse. There is no information that any further action  would have  been taken.
