At the end of September, the High Authority (HALDE) mailed a press kit to the 1,500 largest communes in France and to every general and regional council. This tool will be used to relay its civic information campaign, which fights against discrimination. The press kit contains a CD, articles that can be published in local publications, radio and TV spots, bulletin boards, and copies of posters ready to print. Local authorities will also distribute a booklet explaining discrimination. 3.5 million copies of this booklet have been printed to date. Through this campaign, the HALDE intends that "any person would be able to find in his or her town hall, information allowing him or her to take advantage of his or her rights."
