After the opening ceremony of the 2010 LGBT Festival, a group of extremists appeared in front of the venue, wanting to remove the rainbow flag from the front of the building. When police force arrived 30-40 minutes later, a gay person leaving the venue was hit by members of the extremist group. The police force surrounded the victim and demanded self-identification, letting the perpetrators leave. The victim told them to catch the perpetrator instead, which the police patrols interpreted as a refusal to identify himself. Finally the perpetrator was caught but let go after self identification.
