Anti-Islamic murder of an Egyptian woman during a court proceeding
During a court proceeding, a 31-year-old Egyptian woman was stabbed to death by a 28-year-old ethnic German migrant. He was accused of having insulted the headscarf wearing woman in a racist and anti-Islamic manner in August 2008.The woman came to the court to testify against the accused man in an appeal court proceeding. The defendant also attempted to murder her husband. The accused has been sentenced to life imprisonment. His motives were xenophobia and racism.
