Following the racist attack on the Brazilian/Swedish competitor, the Polish Speedway Racing Association supplemented the Speedway Racing Rules with regulations concerning the possibility to launch disciplinary proceedings for racist acts of hooliganism. Currently, the Rules state that if the spectators raise chants of racist, fascist, anti-Semitic, nationalist, satanic, grossly unethical, terrorist-approving or dissension- and hatred-inciting content, and display slogans and symbols with this content, the speedway team is to be punished with a fine of max. PLN 25,000 or with an order to close the stadium (in whole or in part) to the public for one to three league matches.
