The members of criminal group propagating fascism and inciting people to hatred on grounds of nationality and religion was condemned to the penalty of one year of imprisonment without suspension by the District Court in Białystok. In the youth group of neo-fascists was active from September 2006 to the end of August 2007. The group mostly dealt with scribbling fascist slogans and symbols of SS, swastikas, also in memorial places connected with Jews. Among others, they desecrated the Jewish cemetery at Wschodnia Street and the obelisk devoted to the victims of the ghetto at Żabia Street. The court stated that the inscriptions “Jude raus” and David's star on the gallows are exactly the instances of incitement to hatred on grounds of nationality and religion as well as the insult of the Jewish nation in the place of rest of the dead. In August 2012, the court condemned all the four members to more severe punishment than prosecutor demanded. The verdict is legally binding.
